Translation of the saying:
Abdullah ibn Habib al-Tabari informed us, he said: I heard Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani say: “Two ferocious wolves among sheep whose shepherd is absent, while one is in front of it and the other is behind it and they rip apart from every side, are not more harmful than two scholars among a people that one follows the ruler and the other follows the market.”
Explanation of the saying:
His intended meaning of the ruler is every ruler other than God’s Caliph on the earth; because he is a taghut who is worshiped instead of God the Exalted, the Majestic, and his intended meaning of the market is common people; because they are people of ignorance, fanaticism, desires, and superstitions, and they possess money and the media, and he has said that because many scholars of Islamic countries issue fatwas according to what the ruler or common people demand in order to be safe from their evil or enjoy their support; since they need religious permits to justify their non-religious actions and spread them in Islamic countries, and these traitors issue them for them, and in this way, they adjust God’s religion to harmonize with their desires instead of adjusting their desires to harmonize with God’s religion! ﴿أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ اشْتَرَوُا الْحَيَاةَ الدُّنْيَا بِالْآخِرَةِ ۖ فَلَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ الْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنْصَرُونَ﴾; “They are the ones who bought the life of the world for the Hereafter, so their punishment shall not be lightened, nor shall they be helped.”
