What is Allamah Khorasani's opinion about the revelation? Many of monotheism’s opponents do not consider revelation as heavenly. Some of the opponents do not consider Qur’an as revelation, but consider it as the prophet's own words. Without referencing to the Qur’an Karim itself, how can prove that the Qur’an is revelation-base and heavenly? Is there any come as revelation to his Excellency Mahdi (peace be upon him)?
Allamah Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani (may God protect him) in the subject of “Cognition of the last prophet” from the noble book “Return to Islam”[1], after explaining the historicalness and unique Tawatir of the Qur'an, considers its being miracle as reason for its issuance by God and containing four aspects:
First, “in spite of its gradual evolution over the twenty-three years and the contradictory moods of Mohammad (Peace be upon him and his family) in safe, fear, wealth, poverty, migration, war, peace, victory and defeat, which usually requires the human’s contradictory statements, there is no contradiction on it, and it has a unified and constant track”.
Second, “it is at the most of eloquence and rhetoric”.
Third, “it contains true news of the future and secret science at the time of evolution”.
Fourth, “it has no conflict with innate intellect and ethic”.
It is clear that “the gathering of these is not possible for a man unrelated to God”, and with this description issuance of the Qur'an by God is certain; especially given its challenge, which over the past fourteen centuries has not been responded yet, despite the existence of many claims, whereas such a time is enough for answering, if it is possible; but the Qur’an does not compare with the any books of poets, wise men, preachers, and scholars, unless it is superior over them in terms of word and meaning, and with these descriptions the dictatorship and Improbability of lunatics, who do not believe in God and the possibility of His relationship with human being, do not degrade its Validity, as He has said about them: ﴿إِنَّهُ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ فَقُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ ثُمَّ قُتِلَ كَيْفَ قَدَّرَ ثُمَّ نَظَرَ ثُمَّ عَبَسَ وَبَسَرَ ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ وَاسْتَكْبَرَ فَقَالَ إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا سِحْرٌ يُؤْثَرُ إِنْ هَذَا إِلَّا قَوْلُ الْبَشَرِ سَأُصْلِيهِ سَقَرَ﴾[2]; “Indeed, he thought and deliberated. So may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. Then may he be destroyed [for] how he deliberated. Then he considered [again]; Then he frowned and scowled; Then he turned back and was arrogant. And said, This is not but magic imitated [from others]. This is not but the word of a human being. I will drive him into Saqar”!
Furthermore, it is clear that Mahdi is not prophet, and with this description the legislative revelation to him is impossible, but non-legislative revelation to him, in type of that has been come to the Maryam, the Musa’s mother, Dhu al-Qarnayn and Hawariyyun, is possible; as his honor Allamah explains in the noble “Return to Islam”[3] in this regard.
