Imam Mahdi’s approach to introducing Islam to people of the world is the same as that of his ancestor, the Messenger of Allah which is to invite them to one of the three options:

1. To embrace the true Islam and abandon false religions

2. To submit to the rule of the true Islam while remaining on their religions

3. To Engage in battle

Of course, considering his complete knowledge of what Allah has sent down due to his being Allah’s Caliph on the earth, and his complete purity from any impurity due to his being one of the Ahl al-Bayt, it is clear that he invites with wisdom and good advice when he is an inviter, rules with justice when he is a ruler, and observes all the rulings of Allah regarding fighting, peace, jizyah, security, prisoners, and spoils of war when he is a fighter and does not wrong anyone in any of the three options.
