Question & Answer

Today, which is the age of inviting Muslims to the last divine rope and the appointed God’s Caliph and the only link between God and human beings and the only Imam of pure monotheists, who manifests the rule of the divine sovereignty over human beings against the Taughut, a group of oppressed has entered the “Return to Islam” movement under the leadership of his honor Allamah Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani, and in this stormy sea with their lights, invite Muslims to enjoin the good and forbid the evil, and obeying the God and staying away from polytheism. Now, since they are exposed to the aggression of the Taughut and the ignorant and the misguided, and those who are fond of the power and the sick imitators, if their lives and properties are destroyed, will they have the reward of a martyr?

Undoubtedly, those, who strive with their properties and lives for the realization of God's sovereignty over the world, are alive martyrs, and if they are killed in this way, they will be considered as the best martyrs, rather in the present age, there is no martyr except them; because no one, except them, strives for the realization of God's sovereignty over the world, but everyone from every group and religion, knowingly or unknowingly, strives for the realization of the sovereignty of others over the world, while martyrdom is possible only through the realization of God's sovereignty over the world; as He has said: ﴿الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ۖ وَالَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ الطَّاغُوتِ﴾[1]; “Those who believe in God fight in His way and those who do not believe in God, fight in the way of the Taughut”, and has said: ﴿وَلَا تَقُولُوا لِمَنْ يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتٌ ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ وَلَكِنْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ﴾[2]; “And do not consider those who are martyred in the way of God as dead, rather they are alive but you do not understand”. With this description, those who are killed in order to establishing or maintaining the sovereignty of the leader of ISIS or the leader of the Taliban or the leader of Syria or the leader of Iran or other leaders in the world, are dead and, naming them as martyrs is a deception so far; since the martyr in Islam is the one who is killed in order to establishing and maintaining the sovereignty of God's Caliph on earth, not establishing and maintaining the sovereignty of others, and such a person, in the present age, cannot be anyone except the Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani and his sincere companions, who are striving to establish and maintain the sovereignty of Mahdi; As one of our companions informed us, said:

«سَمِعْتُ الْمَنْصُورَ یَقُولُ لِأَصْحابِهِ: أَلا تَتَعَجَّبُونَ مِنْهُمْ؟! یُسَمُّونَ قَتِیلَ هَذَا شَهِیداً وَ قَتِیلَ هَذَا شَهِیداً وَ ما هُما إِلّا جِیفَتانِ تَهُبُّ عَلَیْهِمَا الرِّیاحُ! أَلا وَاللّهِ مَا الشَّهِیدُ إلّا أَنا وَ أَصْحابِي وَ إِنْ مِتْنا عَلَى فُرُشِنا»; “I heard his honor Mansoor says to his companions: Are not you surprised by these?! They call the killed of this as martyr and call the killed of that as martyr, while those two are nothing except the dead on which the winds blow! Be aware that there is no martyr but me and my companions, even if we die on our beds”.

We ask God for blessing of the true martyrdom on His way and with the preparer for the advent of His Caliph.

Regarding this question and its answer, a number of opponents have raised doubts, which I ask to be answered:

1. If Allamah Khorasani is right and wants martyrdom, then why he does not give permission for jihad and martyrdom against corruptors such as ISIS? Why he does not take the weapon?

2. Many Islamic scholars have declared jihad against the ISIS corrupters, in which many of their corruptions have repelled by them. Why is Allamah Khorasani silent?

3. Some of opponents say that Allamah Khorasani's stand against the insurgents is similar to Qaedin[1] versus the Mojahidin[2], and according to the Holy Quran, the Mojahidin have a virtue over the Qaedin. What is Allamah Khorasani's answer to these people?

4. How is the practical proceedings of Allamah Khorasani for the advent of his Excellency Mahdi (AS), and in what form?

5. How could it be that individuals who, with the conscious following from scholars, fight with corruptors such as ISIS and are killed for repelling the corruption and defending the lives, property and honor of Muslims, are not martyr? If this is not like that, the life of Allamah Khorasani will be in danger.

Please, to this number of emotional and Insightless opponents, according to the Jewish rule ﴿إِنْ أُوتِيتُمْ هَذَا فَخُذُوهُ وَإِنْ لَمْ تُؤْتَوْهُ فَاحْذَرُوا﴾[3], whenever they admire something from Allamah Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani, they turn to him, and whenever they do not admire something from him, they become "a number of his opponents" say:

Firstly, the laws of Islam, such as jihad, are neither subjected to the passions and conjectural and illusional comparisons of these Zaydi Muslims, nor based on the declaration of "many scholars" who themselves, by worshiping the Taughut and hiding God's revelations in the past, have been caused to emergence of "corruptors such as ISIS", and now by following their oppressor rulers and protecting their interests, promise their excited and closed eyes-and-ears imitators the martyrdom and send them to battlefield, rather are subjected to God's command and prohibition based on His book and the Sunnah of His prophet, which is manifested in the tradition of His prophet’s household, and are the only source of inspiration for Allamah Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani.

Secondly, the claim that "Allamah Khorasani does not give the permission for jihad and martyrdom against corruptors such as ISIS" or "he is silent against them" is a clear lie and apparent calumny; because he has repeatedly and clearly taken a stand against ISIS, and has considered jihad against corruptors similar to them as obligatory, and has considered the punishment for their actions to be that “to be killed or to be hanged or to get their hands and legs cross amputated or to be driven from earth”[4], and has said: “if ever I have capability on the earth, I will punish them for their deeds”[5], with the difference that he considers jihad not only obligatory with ISIS, but also with all corruptors, and does not consider jihad permissible with some corruptors under the banner of other corruptors; as he has said: “Yes indeed, depriving an oppressor from power for the purpose of granting it to another oppressor is not permitted; since this is not regarded as opposing and confronting oppressors, rather is retaining it in another way”[6]. From here, it is understood that the intention of his honor of condemning the fighters against ISIS under the banner of other ISIS is not forbidding jihad against ISIS, rather is commending to legitimate jihad with them, which is only possible by cooperating with a just leader, who is independent from oppressive rulers and seeks to preparation for Mahdi’s advent, and it is based on the basis of his honor in the chapter of "necessity of performing the entire of Islam" which considers, performing a component of Islam without performing of its other components, useless but dangerous, not in the sense that the component must be abandoned, but in the sense that other components must also be performed.

Thirdly, the manner of Allamah Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani is similar, in all respects, to the manners of the Ahl ul-Bayt of the prophet (PBUH), and with this description, it is not surprising that he is accused of charges similar to charges of them. For example, accusing him of abandoning jihad and joining the Qaedin is similar to accusing Imam Ali ibn Hussein to it; as it is narrated, Ebad Basri, on the way to Mecca, said to that Imam: «يَا عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ! تَرَكْتَ الْجِهَادَ و صُعُوبَتَه و أَقْبَلْتَ عَلَى الْحَجِّ و لِينَتِهِ! إِنَّ اللَّه عَزَّ وجَلَّ يَقُولُ: ﴿إِنَّ اللَّهَ اشْتَرَى مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ الْجَنَّةَ ۚ يُقَاتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَيَقْتُلُونَ وَيُقْتَلُونَ ۖ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا فِي التَّوْرَاةِ وَالْإِنْجِيلِ وَالْقُرْآنِ ۚ وَمَنْ أَوْفَى بِعَهْدِهِ مِنَ اللَّهِ ۚ فَاسْتَبْشِرُوا بِبَيْعِكُمُ الَّذِي بَايَعْتُمْ بِهِ ۚ وَذَلِكَ هُوَ الْفَوْزُ الْعَظِيمُ»; “O Ali bin Hussein! You have abandoned jihad and its hardships and turned to Hajj and its easiness, while God has said: <Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah, so they kill and are killed. [It is] a true promise [binding] upon Him in the Torah and the Gospel and the Qur'an. And who is truer to his covenant than Allah? So rejoice in your transaction which you have contracted. And it is that which is the great attainment>[7]! His Excellency said: «أَتِمَّ الآيَةَ»; “complete the verse”! Ebad said: ﴿التَّائِبُونَ الْعَابِدُونَ الْحَامِدُونَ السَّائِحُونَ الرَّاكِعُونَ السَّاجِدُونَ الآمِرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَالنَّاهُونَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَالْحَافِظُونَ لِحُدُودِ اللَّهِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ﴾; “the repentant, the worshippers, the praisers [of Allah], the travelers [for His cause], those who bow and prostrate [in prayer], those who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and those who observe the limits [set by] Allah. And give good tidings to the believers”[8]! His Excellency said: «إِذا ظَهَرَ هَؤُلَاءِ لَمْ نُؤْثِرْ عَلَى الْجِهادِ شَيْئاً»; “whenever such persons are found, I will not prefer anything over Jihad”[9]. In this way, other Imams of the Ahl ul-Bayt were also accused of the same charge; it is narrated that Abd al-Mulk ibn Amr, after that, Imam Ja'far ibn Muhammad forbids jihad against the infidels in the army of the oppressors, said to him: «إِنَّ الزَّيْدِيَّةَ يَقُولُونَ لَيْسَ بَيْنَنَا و بَيْنَ جَعْفَرٍ خِلَافٌ إِلَّا أَنَّه لَا يَرَى الْجِهَادَ»; “The Zeidists say, there is no disagreement between us and Ja’far except that he does not believe in Jihad”! His Excellency said surprisingly: «أَنَا لَا أَرَاه؟! بَلَى واللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَرَاهُ ولَكِنْ أَكْرَهُ أَنْ أَدَعَ عِلْمِي إِلَى جَهْلِهِمْ», “Do not I believe in Jihad? No swear at God, I believe in that, but I do not want to leave my knowledge for the sake of their ignorance”[10]. This is the approach of the Ahl ul-Bayt of the prophet (PBUH), and the approach of the excellent disciple of their school Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani, and with this description, whoever accuses, the charge of Ebad Basri to Ali ibn Hussein and the charge of Zeidiah to Ja’far ibn Mohammad, against the Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani, the Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani’s answer to him/her is the answer of Ali ibn Hussein and Ja'far ibn Mohammad.

Fourthly, those who fight the ISISs in the army of oppressors and under the banner of various rulers are not much different from the ISISs; because if ISISs testify martyrdom and pray and fast and, with the motive of jihad, obey to some of the Taughuts of the region and kill and are killed for establishment of sovereignty and provision of the interests of their leader, those who fight with them also, similar to them, testify martyrdom and pray and fast and, with the motive of jihad, obey to some of Taughuts of the region and kill and are killed for establishment of sovereignty and provision of the interests of their leader. With this description, there is no difference between these two in the presence of God and His friends, except that ISISs initiate a war and cause corruption on earth, and with this description, are more misguided and oppressive than the others, but this is not a permission to fight with them in the army of oppressors and under the banner of various rulers; because such a war, even though it is with the Taughut, is not considered in the way of God, but is in the way of the Taughut, and with this description, those who are killed in it are not martyrs. Yes, it is permissible to fight with the ISISs only in the army of Mansoor and under his black banners, which is the banner of preparation for the Mahdi’s advent, and any war with them in another lines will eventually end in favor of the oppressors and will strengthen the foundations of Taughuts’ sovereignty.

 Fifth, Allamah Khorasani's practical proceedings to preparation for the Mahdi’s advent is subjected to the quality and quantity of Muslims’ support for this noble man. Explaining, if Muslims, like you and your friends, do not support this noble man sufficiently, it means that they have not yet prepared for the Mahdi’s advent, and with this description, the advent of that Imam for them is contrary to wisdom, but if they, unlike you and your friends, support this noble man sufficiently, he will take all the necessary proceedings to prepare the Mahdi’s advent in accordance with the basis and procedure that he has explained in the noble book "Return to Islam”, and it is hoped that he will be able to convince that Imam for a timely and successful advent, and their success is only from God.
