but rather following the predecessors due to their following the intellect and Sharia is a contradictory work; because following the predecessors, if they followed the intellect and Sharia, entails following the intellect and Sharia, not the predecessors; considering that the predecessors, according to the presumption, have followed the intellect and Sharia, not the predecessors, and therefore, following the predecessors requires not following the predecessors!

Yes, if the predecessors have been necessarily more aware of Sharia due to their more closeness to the origin of Sharia, following them in the hope of getting closer to following Sharia is not without reason, but this does not appear to be certain; because their more closeness to the origin of Sharia does not entail their more awareness of Sharia, but rather perhaps it entails the opposite from a perspective; because knowing what has been created newly is usually more difficult than knowing what has been created previously; considering that naturally there has been less opportunity to know it, less time has been spent to know it, less experience has been gained about it, and fewer people have become informed of it, and these require less cognition of it, to the extent that many new things are not known at the beginning of their occurrence, and only with the passage of time their cognition becomes easy and widespread, and therefore, in all subjects that do not pertain to a particular time, the knowledge of posterity has always been more than the knowledge of the past generations, and this is a perceptible and experienced reality; especially considering that the knowledge of posterity is a combination of their own knowledge and the knowledge of the past generations, and this is considered a greater knowledge capacity for them; because they learn about the experience of the past generations and add it to their own experience and create more experience for posterity. This appears to be the rule in knowing things that have no time limit, and consequently, knowing Sharia is no exception to this rule; because Sharia is not considered a historical event belonging to the past, but rather it is a reality flowing along eternity;
