because establishing Islamic hudud by them is obligatory along with establishing the entirety of Islam, and establishing the entirety of Islam by them is possible by following a person who knows the entirety of it, and such a person, as it was made clear, is the Caliph of God on the earth whom God has given the knowledge about the entirety of Islam, and he is His intermediary in exercising His rule.

The reality of non-establishment of Islam

It is known from the foregoing that Islam has not been established after the Messenger of God so far, and this is a proven and evident fact; because due to various causes, there has been no opportunity for the original form and the entirety of Islam to be established, and consequently, as long as this situation exists, Muslims cannot achieve happiness and salvation from problems. Therefore, knowing the causes of this situation and the motives for deviation from the original form and the entirety of Islam is useful for returning to the pure and perfect Islam in the sense of establishing it after it has been spoiled; because it is clear that Muslims have been fundamentally wanting to establish the original form and the entirety of Islam due to their divine disposition and their human nature, as well as their interest in Islam, and therefore, their failure to do so has not been possible unless due to the impediments that have been emerged after the Messenger of God . Yes, the demise of the Messenger of God and his absence have been great tragedies with dreadful consequences; as God had informed about it and said: ﴿وَمَا كَانَ اللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَأَنْتَ فِيهِمْ﴾[1]; “And God will not punish them while you are among them,” and said: ﴿أَفَإِنْ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ انْقَلَبْتُمْ عَلَى أَعْقَابِكُمْ ۚ وَمَنْ يَنْقَلِبْ عَلَى عَقِبَيْهِ فَلَنْ يَضُرَّ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا ۗ وَسَيَجْزِي اللَّهُ الشَّاكِرِينَ﴾[2]; “If he dies or is killed, will you revert to your old ways?! While whoever reverts to his old ways will not harm God in the least, and God will reward the grateful.”
