Lessons from His Eminence on the fact that the Earth is not devoid of a man knowledgeable about the entire religion, whom Allah has appointed as a caliph, imam, and guide on it with His command.
Verses of the Quran about it

Verse No. 6

“The earth is never devoid of a truthful one whom believers must be with.”

قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى:

﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ﴾[1]

Translation:

God Almighty has said:

“O you who believed! Fear God and be with the truthful”.

Consideration

أَخْبَرَنَا جُبَيْرُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ الْخُجَنْدِيُّ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ الْمَنْصُورَ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى: ﴿يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَكُونُوا مَعَ الصَّادِقِينَ﴾، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ الْأَرْضَ لَا تَخْلُو مِنْ صَادِقٍ مَفْرُوضٍ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مَعَهُ، لَا يَتَقَدَّمُوا عَلَيْهِ وَلَا يَتَأَخَّرُوا، فَمَنْ مَاتَ وَلَيْسَ مَعَ صَادِقِ زَمَانِهِ فَقَدْ مَاتَ عَاصِيًا لِرَبِّهِ، وَهَذَا مَقْصُودُ أُولِي الْأَلْبَابِ إِذْ يَقُولُونَ: رَبَّنَا ﴿وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ الْأَبْرَارِ﴾[2]!

Translation:

Jubayr ibn Ata’ al-Khujandi informed us, he said: I asked Mansoor about the words of God Almighty that says: “O you who believed! Fear God and be with the truthful”, so he said: The earth is never empty of a truthful one that the believers are obliged to be with him, to not go ahead of him and to not fall behind him. So whoever dies while he is not with the truthful one of his time, has died while disobeying his Lord, and this is the purpose of the wise, where they say: O Lord! “Make us die with the righteous”!
