9	9	Actions and goals In his book Return to Islam, Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani has spared no sect, madhhab, or nation from his critiques and has struck everyone with the same sword! Neither Shia, nor Sunni, nor Salafi, nor Sufi, nor hadith scholars, nor philosophers, nor poets, nor scholars, nor guardianship of the Islamic jurist, nor democracy, nor the West, nor ISIS; none of them are acceptable to him or conform to the pure and perfect Islam! Based on this, he has annoyed everyone, leaving no one on his side! It is clear that Muslims of the world are either on this side or that side, and he has shattered both sides! Therefore, no one is left to support him! Everyone has become his enemy! If he had even the slightest bit of political acumen, he would have kept at least one person on his side at the beginning of his movement and would not have alienated everyone! Now, no one considers him a friend, and everyone has taken a stance against him! They are all on one front, and he stands alone on another! Clearly, he will not succeed in this situation, and his failure is inevitable! In my opinion, he has no political acumen whatsoever!	2015-01-25
8	8	Ancillaries I read the book Return to Islam twice carefully. I did not understand it well the first time, but the second time, I understood it, Alhamdulillah. To be fair, it is a very well-written and excellent book, and I benefited greatly from it. However, I did not understand one phrase in it, and I thought it was a contradiction. His Eminence Allamah has stated: “Establishing Islamic hudud by those who do not know all of the rulings of Islam nor are they able to apply them entirely is not permissible, without it being permissible for them to not establish Islamic hudud!” How can their establishment of Islamic hudud be permissible and at the same time impermissible? 7	7	Matters related to religions, sects, and factions The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said: “My Ummah will split into seventy-three sects after me. All of them are in the fire except for one.” How can Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani claim that all sects are wrong except for the one he has brought recently? 6	6	Guidance on some verses of the Quran What is understood from the book Return to Islam by Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani is that the Islam that exists in our time is not the same Islam that existed in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family). This has raised two questions for me: 1. If the Islam that exists in our time is not the same Islam that existed in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family)] then why has Allah said in the Quran: “Indeed, We Ourselves sent down the Reminder, and We shall certainly preserve it”? Has He not been able to preserve His religion from alteration for 1400 years?! 2. If the Islam that exists in our time is not the same Islam that existed in the time of the Prophet, then what was the state of the scholars and great figures who lived before Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani?! 2	2	Attributes and duties of scholars Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani has mentioned in his book Return to Islam many issues that I do not find any of the scholars discussing or even noticing! How is it possible that all these scholars have not understood these issues, and only Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani has understood them?!!	2015-01-03
1	1	Imitation If, according to Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani, most hadiths are conjectural except for a few, and personal opinion is not valid either, then how can I know the religious rulings except by imitating scholars?! While I read in the Quran: «إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَابًا مَوْقُوتًا» (An-Nisa/ 103); “Undoubtedly, prayer is obligatory for believers at specific times,” and I read in it: «يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ» (Al-Baqarah/ 183); “O you who believed! Fasting has been prescribed for you,” and I read in it the command to perform other deeds; therefore, I know that these deeds are obligatory for me. How can I know the rulings of these obligatory deeds if I am not allowed to imitate scholars or act according to my opinion?! Should I abandon them now and go prepare the ground for the advent of Allah’s caliph on the Earth by reforming myself and gathering a sufficient number of people, and then perform prayer, fasting, and other obligations?
