(75) Mansoor Hashemi Khoarani recognizes a Hadith-Oriented mindset as one of the impediments for cognition of pure and complete Islam and its establishment by Muslims; because in his opinion a Hadith, where it means a conjectural narration from Sunnah of the Prophet, does not have any credibility due to lack of credibility of conjecture in Islam and reasoning based on that in order to derive belief or law is not sufficient. (Article 1)

I have a question. In the time of Prophet and his successors, some people lived in distant locations from them and did not have access to them to learn their religion and ask their questions. So, the Prophet and his successors appointed a representative in that city or area and people learned their religion from him. Now here is the question: Was the appointed person infallible? Was it impossible for him to give a wrong answer? So, how is it that people did not go astray? How did the guidance of God reach people by the means of a fallible person without deficiency and shortcoming?

In the book Return to Islam has been written that Ijtihad[1] is obligatory to every Muslim. The question is since every human owns a special talent, for example some have talent in medicine and some in engineering and other scientific fields, and therefore it is not possible for all people to gain success in one field, what should those who have not the ability to become Mujtahid[2] do? Should they not refer to an expert in religion?

If, according to Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani’s thought, narrations (with the exception of a few of them) are considered to be conjectural, then how can I find religious laws from anywhere other than the treatise of the great imitation references? Considering that he does not accept Ijtihad[1] either! Where do I get the rules of prayer that have been stated in Quran? «إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ كَانَتْ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ كِتَابًا مَوْقُوتًا» (An-Nisa/ 103) meaning “Indeed the prayer is a specified obligatory duty for believers” Where do I get the rules of fasting that that have been stated in Quran? «يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الصِّيَامُ» (Al-Baqarah/ 183) meaning “O believers, prescribed for you is the Fasting” And many other rules for other deeds that are obligatory in Quran. Will I leave these for now and start educating myself and a lot of people so that God's Caliph may appear and then I start doing prayer and fasting and so on? This is not reasonable at all!
