Believing in Monotheism, Prophethood and Resurrection is from the principles of Islam, and believing in the caliphate of Prophet’s Ahl al-bayt peace be upon him and his family is from the principles of faith. Therefore, whoever does not believe in the caliphate of Prophet’s Ahl al-bayt peace be upon him and his family, as far as he believes in Monotheism, Prophethood and Resurrection, he is considered a Muslim and his life, property and honor are respected, although he is not considered a faithful Muslim. Also, believing in Justice when it means knowing God as the Lord who is just in His actions, is from the minutiae of Monotheism, and when it means considering good and evil being rational contrary to considering them being religious, it is not from the principles of Islam, rather is not from the principles of faith either; because believing in Monotheism, Prophethood, Resurrection, and caliphate of Prophet’s Ahl al-bayt peace be upon him and his family is enough for having faith, although there would be no belief in rational good and evil.
