What is the opinion of His Eminence Mansoor on the Hamas movement? Did they do the right thing by attacking the Zionists in “Operation al-Aqsa Flood”?

There is nothing wrong with Muslims having a group that defends their land and their women and children when disbelievers attack them. However, it is not permissible for them to initially launch an attack on disbelievers except with the permission of a just Imam appointed by God; especially if their attack is of no avail and can give disbelievers an excuse to attack Muslims in a way that they cannot repel it. If there is an occupied land for Muslims whose people are unable to reclaim it, then other Muslims must help them with whatever strengthens them for that, and they must seek this help instead of destroying themselves. If Muslims cooperate, they will overcome the strongest disbelievers with the permission of God, and if they seek the help of Imam Mahdi, peace be upon him, for that, he will help them, as he is the gate to God’s help, and how well has said His Eminence Mansoor, may God protect him: «قَلِيلٌ مِنَ الْعَقْلِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ كَثِيرٍ مِنَ الْحَمَاسِ»; “A little bit of intellect is better than a lot of enthusiasm[1].”

For more information on this, refer to the topic “Jihad” in the book Return to Islam, and saying 52 from the words of His Eminence Mansoor, may God protect him.
