I have read the book Return to Islam by His Excellency Khorasani and found it to be a very useful book. I do not doubt that he has high scholarly degrees; since it is clear that understanding these precise and profound scholarly points that he has explained in his book is not possible except for those who have a place in knowledge, but please state the name of the university or religious school from which he has graduated; because no matter how much I searched, I did not find his name nor his fame as a well-known writer, researcher, or religious man in Afghanistan.

His Excellency Allamah Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani, may God protect him, is at the highest scholarly level by the testimony of his lofty thoughts, his excellent and invaluable Islamic teachings, and his extraordinary grasp of the Book of God, the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him and his family, and various authentic sources of belief, history, Hadith, jurisprudence, biographical evaluation, and philosophy that can be seen in his book Return to Islam and his other sayings and writings, as well as his training virtues and devout disciples who carry out Islamic education and invitation in his website. Rather, it can be boldly said that he is the most knowledgeable scholar of the Ummah in the present era and provides the greatest scholarly benefit to Muslims of the world. However, it is not possible to disclose detailed information about his identity, location, and scholarly and personal backgrounds to the public for two reasons:

1. Because of his reformist and revolutionary approach, which is based on severing affiliation with any of the denominations, sects, and countries so that he stands in a position that transcends denominations, sects, and countries, and can lead them all toward the sovereignty of God’s Caliph, the Mahdi, and becomes a common capital for all Muslims, even though this may be incomprehensible to superficial ignorant people trapped in self-made stereotypes; because God’s Caliph, the Mahdi, does not affiliate with any of the denominations, sects, and countries, nor has he taken the pledge of allegiance to any of them, and therefore, the one who prepares the ground for his sovereignty should be similar to him in this respect so that the harmony between the cause and the effect is preserved. As the harms resulting from his affiliation to a particular denomination, sect, or country, with attention to the intense disagreements and rivalries that exist between denominations, sects, and countries, are not hidden, and it is so difficult for Muslims to gather around a man who is affiliated with a particular denomination, sect, or country. Of course, this does not mean that he actually is affiliated with one, but he conceals it out of consideration for the expediency; because he really does not affiliate with any as it is evident from his independent thoughts and goals, which are based on the commonalities of Muslims. However, when the general public obtains detailed information about his identity, location, and scholarly and personal backgrounds, they fall into distortion by them and take any similarity between them and the identity, location, and scholarly and personal backgrounds of the people of a particular denomination, sect, or country as evidence that he is one of them, and at that point, sectarian, racist, and political fanaticism will rush to them and prevent them from correctly looking at his invitation without ill suspicion and prejudgment, and this is clear corruption. Therefore, those who seek information about his identity, location, and scholarly and personal backgrounds only seek discord and division among Muslims, and it is obligatory for them to stop it and to look at his pure sayings that are in accordance with the intellect and Sharia, regardless of his identity, location, and scholarly and personal backgrounds; as the wise say: “Look at what is said, not at who has said it!”

2. Because of the necessity of preserving the security of this reformist scholar at present, which is a rational and religious necessity; because he is the only hope for oppressed people in the world to reach the Mahdi, and the precious capital of the Islamic Ummah, while his bloodthirsty enemies from various denominations, sects, and countries are earnestly looking for him, and once they become aware of his identity, location, and scholarly and personal backgrounds, they will easily reach him and eradicate his sacred movement, which is at the beginning of its emergence; because now there are many enemies in the region while there are not many friends in it, and therefore, his appearance in the current situation is contrary to wisdom and expediency, but rather it is committing oppression against oneself, the Mahdi, and all Muslims; as it is contrary to the command of God, where He has said: ﴿وَلَا تُلْقُوا بِأَيْدِيكُمْ إِلَى التَّهْلُكَةِ[1]; “And do not cast yourselves into destruction with your own hands,” and quoted from the Companions of the Cave, who were in a similar situation: ﴿وَلْيَتَلَطَّفْ وَلَا يُشْعِرَنَّ بِكُمْ أَحَدًا ۝ إِنَّهُمْ إِنْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ يَرْجُمُوكُمْ أَوْ يُعِيدُوكُمْ فِي مِلَّتِهِمْ وَلَنْ تُفْلِحُوا إِذًا أَبَدًا[2]; “And he should conceal and not let anyone know about you in any way. If they come to know about you, they will stone you or make you return to their religion, and then you will never succeed.” Yes, when a sufficient number of friends are provided for him in the region, he will appear to the public and address them orally without any doubt; because at that time he will be able to defend himself and survive until he reaches his goal, Insha’Allah. It is hereby understood that those who try to seek information about his identity, location, and scholarly and personal backgrounds in the current situation are either his oppressive enemies, who look for him to kill him or capture him, or his ignorant friends, who serve his enemies without knowledge, and all of them are wrongdoers.
