What is his honor’s opinion about the prayers (Dua) that the Shiites read for his Excellency Mahdi peace be upon him? Such as Faraj prayer, Nudba prayer, Iftitah prayer etc.

The prayers that the Shiite read for Mahdi are often made by some scholars and their narrators and have no credibility, but if a prayer among them has a correct meaning, it is permissible to read it with regards to its meaning and with no belief in its legitimacy. However, the best prayer for a Muslim is one he reads in his own language and not form a writing or memory, in which he praises God and he sends tribute to Muhammad and his progeny peace be upon him and his family and asks for forgiveness for his sins and requests for his legitimate needs and it is hoped that such prayer will be closer in becoming accepted by God. One of our helpers informed us and said:

«سَمِعْتُ عَبْداً صالِحاً یَقُولُ: مَنْ دَعا لِنَفْسِهِ وَ لَمْ یَدْعُ لِصاحِبِ هَذَا الْأَمْرِ فَقَدْ جَفاهُ»; “I heard a righteous servant says: whoever prays for himself and does not pray for the owner of this matter (meaning Mahdi), has betrayed him”!
