Translation of the saying:

Mohammad ibn Ibrahim Shirazi informed us and said: I heard Mansoor Hashemi Khorasani was saying: the best Hadith which narrators have narrated is this: “Indeed I will leave among you two valuable things: The Book of God and my Itrat who are my Ahl al-Bayt[1], as long as you adhere to those two, you will never be misguided and indeed they will not be separated until the time when they arrive back to me at the Hawz[2], the meticulous and aware one informed me with this”! I said: I swear to God if people of my country get informed about this, their eyes will be brightened! He said: why Mohammad?! Are they not the group of people who are enemies of Ahl al-Bayt?! I said: how they are their enemies whereas they are Shia?! He said: they are my enemies whereas I am inviting towards Ahl al-Bayt, therefore they are enemies of Ahl al-Bayt!

Translation of the saying:

Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Harawi informed us and said: I used to be so interested in Hadith, then one day his honor Mansoor came to me while there were books in front of me and some of them were on top of the others, then he said: what are these books in front of you Mohammad?! I replied: these are Hadith books, may I be your sacrifice! He said with surprise: all of them?! I replied: yes I swear to God, all of them! So he picked one of them and began to turn its pages, until I saw reluctance in his face, so I said: may I be your sacrifice, looks like you do not like Hadith! He said: the less of it exists, the better! I said: in this case, guide me to something from it so that I take it and leave the rest! He said: the Hadith of “Indeed I leave” is enough for you and it must be written with fluid gold! I said: you say this while narrators have turned away from it! He said: did they not consider it true?! I said: they did, but they have turned away from it! He said: there is no goodness unless the narrators have turned away from it!

Explanation of the saying:

It is clear that the reason for his honor’s reluctance from abundant Hadiths, is too many lies and manipulation that have come to them and have put many of them against the Book of God and Mutawatir Sunnah of the Prophet and also the common sense on one hand, and is an entertainment and excessive occupation that it has created for Muslims and has prevented them from direct referral to the Caliph of God and the Caliph of His Prophet on the other hand; as it has been explained in detail in honorable book “Return to Islam”, the subject “Prevalence of the traditionalism” and also in some if his honor’s enlightening sayings.

Translation of the saying:

Abd al-Salam ibn Abd al-Qaum informed us and said: I heard Mansoor was saying: if I could, I would clear all Hadith but this one: “Indeed I will leave among you something that if you adhere to it you will never be misguided: The Book of God and my Itrat who are my Ahl al-Bayt”; Because there is adequacy in it and if I were to leave another Hadith beside this one, indeed I would leave this: “Be upon you my Sunnah and Rashid Caliphs' Sunnah and the Mahdi after me, so adhere to it and hold it with your teeth”!

Translation of the saying:

Hashim ibn Ubayd Khojandy informed us and said: I heard the scholar (i.e. Mansoor) was saying to his helpers: the best Hadith that people have narrated is this: “Be upon you my Sunnah and Rashid Caliphs' Sunnah and the Mahdi after me, so adhere to it and hold it with your teeth”! I said: may God success your work! This is the Hadith which has been narrated by Ahmad, Darmi, Termezi, ibn Majjah and others, but who did the Prophet peace be upon him and his family mean from these guided Rashid Caliphs after him?! So his honor turned to me and said: oh brother from Khojand! undoubtedly the Prophet peace be upon him and his family did not say anything unless he explained it for the people, whoever accepted it, accepted it and whoever rejected it, rejected it! Did you not hear his Excellency's speech that said: “There are twelve Caliphs after me who are all from the Quraish”?! I said: yes, this is the Hadith which has been narrated by Bokhary, Muslem, Abu Davoud, Termezi and others, but who did the Prophet peace be upon him and his family mean from these twelve guided Rashid Caliphs from Quraish?! Because people have conflict over this! He said: they do not have conflict over this unless because of malice after they gained knowledge! Have you not heard the speech of the Prophet peace be upon him and his family that said: “I will leave among you two Caliphs: The Book of God and my Itrat who are my Ahl al-Bayt, and they will not be separated until the time when they arrive back to me at the Hawz”?! I said: yes, this is the Hadith which has been narrated by ibn Abi sheybah, Ahmad, Termezi, Nissai and others, but who did the Prophet peace be upon him and his family mean from these twelve guided Rashid Caliphs from his Itrat who are his Ahl al-Bayt?! Because people do not know them! He said: leave the people; because they want to not know them! Have you not heard the speech of the Prophet peace be upon him and his family that said: “at end time there will be a Caliph who will divide the wealth without counting it” and said: “Mahdi is from my Itrat from Fatima’s generation”?! So Mahdi is from the twelve guided Rashid Caliphs from Itrat and Ahl al-Bayt of the Prophet and therefore, whoever adheres to his Sunnah, has adhered to the Sunnah of Prophet peace be upon him and his family and has obeyed him and whoever turns away from it, God will beat him to the ground and those are in far astray!
